Joint Press Release- For immediate Release
November 16, 2022
Recently, representatives from the Town of Limon and the Limon Area Fire Protection District came together to discuss the future of emergency services in our community.
For more than a century, ambulance and fire service in the Limon area has been provided by dedicated community members.
Leaders from the Town and the Fire District agree that our number one priority is to continue providing the high-quality emergency services that our community has come to expect. To that end, we are working together to build community support and increase staffing for both the Ambulance Service and the Fire Department.
Our departments need dedicated community members who are willing to become trained firefighters and emergency medical responders. Both agencies are committed to providing support to obtain necessary certifications and trainings. We would love the opportunity to tell you about the rewarding opportunities available.
